A POUCH TO HELP YOU COPE WITH YOUR ANXIETY

To deal with my anxiety one of the best coping mechanisms I use, is to use different sensory stimuli to help ground me.  I carry around something to smell, something to taste, something to play with and a card to remind me of the 5,4,3,2,1 grounding technique.


I realised that this was something that many fellow anxiety sufferers would also benefit from so I created the

‘Balloons and the Brain Anxiety Tool Kit’.

The tool kit consists of:

 

  • 1 x pouch with a choice of 6 hand printed phrases 

  • 1 x stress ball (random colour)

  • 1 x smell in a glass bottle (choose from lavender, peppermint or olbas oil).

  • 5 x super sour sweets

  • 1 x wallet sized coping mechanism card

  • 1 x in case of emergency card

  • 1 x balloon to remind you to breath
